A Dazzling Experience
The Festival builds on the quality and excellence of prestigious bands, whose rich musical traditions win the heart of the public.
This series of sumptuous events complements the free concerts offered in public. Ceremonially arrayed, the military bands perform in various outdoor venues. Many popular performances are offered during the day in approximately ten sites throughout Québec City. Several major shows are also presented in the evening. Guest bands, elegantly attired in their best uniforms with their shining instruments, perform before delighted spectators.
The audience is carried away by the magnificence and rhythm of the many musical performances, marches, military music, national anthems and mass interpretations of this magnificent, free celebration.

Since it was first established in 1998, the Québec city International Festival of Military Bands has developed a broad and accessible repertoire which includes well-known and much-appreciated music, as well as a selection of novelties.
