Palace Grand Concert

The Quebec City International Festival of Military Bands is proud to present the Palace Grand Concert, a unique opportunity to hear the excellence of military musicians from Germany and Chile, accompanied by special guest artists, three tenor soloists from the famous Russian Red Army Choir. 

Respecting the tradition of the popular Grands Concerts, the German and Chilean bands will transport the festival goers into their cultural worlds by offering a repertoire typical of their countries. With the addition of the enchanting mixture of the three Russian Red Army Choir tenors, the Palace Grand Concert promises to be an evening of not  only Russian airs, but also Spanish and Neapolitan.

The Army Band of Neubrandenbourg from Germany will open the concert, followed by the Symphonic Band of the Chilean Air Force. The Russian soloists will join each for a few numbers. The grand finale will bring the two bands together and close with the Russians joining them for the national anthems of the respective countries.
